Kungfu unlike many other art form does not use armours or sticks or any such accessories. It only involves the use of your hands and legs and most of the acts within this follow a circular movement. The idea is that, an attack would come fomr anywhere including behind. So it is to keep the body and mind in constant vigil that kung fu includes circular movements of hands. As expected Kung Fu would teach one to throw punches precisely and with maximum power. If you carefully observe a punch is thrown while exhaling through nose or mouth. Infact that air pressure it is assumed would enhance the forward movement of the hands. In asian martial arts scene Kung Fu training carries various names and forms. Kata is one of that wherein either you are trained alone or with a partner where a comparitive analysis of your bodily movements vs her’s would be identified. Kungu has not been a typical weapon oriented defense mechanism. It was taught to the ancient chinese army men so that they could hold on even afte losing their weapons. At the same time some forms of Kung Fu promotes the use of anything from a chair to a steel glass as a weapon for self defense.
